# The Re-Enchantment of the World - Michael Patrick F. Smith

Blood harmonies. Ayahuasca. Sleeping on flop house floors... singer-songwriter, playwright and novelist Michael Patrick Flanagan Smith takes us on a journey from New York to Kentucky via a small 'fairly dangerous' oil town in North Dakota. On the way we hear his metaphysical musings on the the sentience of words, the re-enchantment of the world and the research behind his new novel, based on his raw, travelling memoirs. Plus we get a selection of his latest, covid-era songs, performed LIVE for Beautiful Tornado!!

Mike’s Book “The Good Hand: A Memoir of Work, Brotherhood, and Transformation in an American Boomtown” is available now, here’s an Amazon link, although I’m sure he would appreciate it if I sent it to that other place where writers get more of the money or something.
