Yamaha EX5

Yamaha’s 1998 workstation synthesizer. The keyboard on Suspension.

The Yamaha EX5 is a 76-key workstation synthesizer Yamaha released in 1998, with sampling, analogue-modelling and physical-modelling engines in one instrument. Maker: Yamaha Corporation, Hamamatsu.

It was my keyboard in Number19. On Suspension, 2001, I played bass and the EX5; Tony Diodore was on guitar and violin, Leah Coloff on cello and voice, Mark Righter on drums.
