[Philip Weinrobe](https://www.philipweinrobe.com/) is a producer, recording engineer and mix engineer in Brooklyn. He helped build Figure 8 Recording in Prospect Heights with [Shahzad Ismaily](/conspirators/shahzad-ismaily/) and Eli Crews, engineering there until 2020, when he started his own studio, Sugar Mountain. His credits include Adrianne Lenker’s *Songs*, *Instrumentals* and *Bright Future*, nominated for Best Folk Album at the 2025 Grammys, and records by Cass McCombs, Tomberlin, Buck Meek and Alanis Morissette.
