# A Wonderful writeup of The Book of Sarth on The Verge

Bryan Bishop at [The Verge](https://www.theverge.com/2013/1/3/3828314/the-book-of-sarth-ipad-app-graphic-novel-concept-album) did a wonderful write up of The Book of Sarth. I really appreciate the detail and attention he gave the book while writing about it.

> “The art is beautiful unto itself, each page filled with inset images that shift, fade, or change. Things really come alive in what’s called the “director’s view”: tap an image and the artwork fills the screen, putting the reader in the same place as the characters, witnessing the effects of the sonic artifact firsthand.”

## The 2015 version

When the site moved to Squarespace in 2015, the post was reposted under Rumors at /rumors/2015/2/10/a-wonderful-write-up-of-the-book-of-sarth-on-the-verge, keeping the January 3, 2013 date, as “The Book of Sarth Review on The Verge”:

Bryan Bishop at [The Verge](https://www.theverge.com/2013/1/3/3828314/the-book-of-sarth-ipad-app-graphic-novel-concept-album) did a fantastic write up of The Book of Sarth. I really appreciate his thoughtful insights and attention to detail - he did a great job of highlighting many of the things that I think make the book special.
