Lulu

A double-cd rendering of the entire collaboration between Lou Reed and Metallica, I was excited to have the opportunity to not only see our score reinterpreted by one of the greatest bands of all time, but also to play on every track.

Power and Serenity

Lou Reed put Power and Serenity up for sale on his site. Awesome, glad to see this project reach fruition.

It is interesting to me to reflect on the notion that this meditation music was the first thing I ever worked on with Lou. Really this was what started our collaborations, and I have always loved the music on this. It is in a similar vein, but of a different character, than the Creation of the Universe or Hudson Wind Meditations. The compositions were conceived of, improvised upon, reworked, edited, remixed and transformed over a period of 4 years. I hope taiji enthusiasts are drawn to this release … CD version of the unabridged music coming soon!

Number 19 - Suspension CD Cover

Number19 - Suspension

Suspension was the debut cd of the band Number19. It was the first project I did with Leah Coloff, and it was a collaborative band with Tony Diodore [BM Linx, Purarcane] and Mark Righter. I love this CD, it shows my bass playing and the band had such a special energy, I’ve never done anything like it since. Many of the jams orient around cello and violin swooping over grooving bass and drums.
